Pranaven Kuhen l Co-founder
Hi everyone! My name is Pranaven Kuhen and I am currently a 4th year student at the University of Ottawa. I am one of the co - founders of Inspire Tomorrow, who created this club in the hope of being able to make some meaningful change within our local communities. I enjoy outdoor activities such as basketball, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my dogs. In addition to these activities I love working on small passion projects which is how Inspire Tomorrow began. Inspire tomorrow is a project that I truly value dearly. Having witnessed first hand, the challenges that at risk youth can face in comparison to their peers, we felt it was important to help in change for the future. By founding this organization we aim to provide the youth with the necessary resources, to achieve their goals.
Ali Al-Faesly | Co-Founder
Hello! I’m Ali, one of the people working behind the scenes to make Inspire Tomorrow a reality. I’m currently in my fourth year at the University of Ottawa, balancing my studies with my passions like soccer, working on cars, and staying active.
Growing up, I faced my fair share of challenges as a first generation immigrant. I know firsthand what it’s like to feel held back by circumstances beyond your control. No one should be limited by their background, and I believe that every kid deserves a fair shot at success, no matter where they start.
That’s why I’m here. To level the playing field. To open doors. To make sure no one feels left behind. With Inspire Tomorrow, we’re not just offering free mentorship and guidance—we’re building a community that uplifts and empowers.
Let’s get to work. Together, we’ll light the way forward, showing the next generation that they are seen, supported, and capable of achieving anything.
Marius Bagrin | VP of Mentorship and Tutoring
Hello everyone! My name is Marius Bagrin, and I am a 4th year student at the University of Ottawa studying Health Sciences! I am the Vice President of Mentorship at Inspire Tomorrow, and I’m excited to be leading our Volunteer and Mentorship programs. With education being more important than ever, I believe it is crucial that all students get the support they need. Whether it be through our volunteer tutoring service, or our post-secondary mentorship programs, I am committed to provide invaluable support and guidance to empower incoming students on their academic journeys.
Ananthu Manoj | VP External
Hey, my name is Ananthu and I’m the VP External for Inspire Tomorrow. I first got involved with Inspire Tomorrow because of the shared vision all of us on the team have: to create lasting change and uplifting the community around us. When I was younger I was fortunate enough to have opportunities to learn, play, and have fun, and we at Inspire Tomorrow want to make sure everyone can have them as well!
A bit about myself: I love soccer, basketball, music, reading (my book series recommendation: Eragon), and I’m also a big aviation guy! I really believe in the vision of Inspire Tomorrow and I am looking forward to all that we can accomplish here!
Ibrahim Fayad | VP of Fundraising
My name is Ibrahim Fayad, and I’m currently in my fourth year at the University of Ottawa. I’m passionate about making a real difference in our communities, especially by supporting and empowering youth. Growing up, I saw firsthand how challenging life can be for young people, often due to a lack of resources and support. This experience inspired me to join the amazing team at Inspire Tomorrow. I’m excited to help create positive change and to do our best to make sure every kid has the chance to reach their goals.
Outside of my studies and community work, I enjoy playing basketball, staying active through exercise, and spending quality time with friends and family. I’m excited to be part of a mission-driven team and look forward to contributing to our shared goals!
Amy Do | VP of Social Media
Hello!
My name is Amy, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with the option of Human Resources Management. I come from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where I had experience in tutoring and working with children. Being on Inspire Tomorrow’s team is very significant to me as I am very passionate about helping youth with navigating their education. I sincerely believe that education is an important tool to empower yourself and your future. My current position in Inspire Tomorrow is VP of Social Media, I hope that we can reach more uOttawa students through our social platforms!
Kevin Samuel | Former VP of Fundraising (2023-2024)
Hey everyone! My name is Kevin, I joined Inspire Tomorrow as the VP of Sponsorship and Fundraising because I am deeply committed to making a positive impact in our local communities. As a third-year student at the University of Ottawa, I truly believe in the power of education and opportunity to create lasting change. Inspire Tomorrow's mission to uplift and empower disadvantaged youth resonates deeply with me. My role allows me to contribute directly to this mission by securing sponsorships and organizing fundraisers, ensuring that our initiatives can reach as many young individuals as possible. By leveling the playing field and fostering a nurturing environment, I am passionate about empowering youth to succeed and become agents of positive change. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I enjoy pursuing photography, playing tennis, and spending quality time with my family and friends, which brings a sense of fun and balance to my life.
